ARK Invest Shifts Portfolio: Bets Big on Alphabet and Meta, Exits AMD and Palantir
Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest made significant moves this week, purchasing $55.8 million in Alphabet shares as the tech giant nears a $4 trillion valuation. The fund also added $21.4 million in Meta Platforms stock, signaling continued confidence in digital advertising and AI infrastructure.
ARK sold $38.6 million of AMD stock and exited its $59 million Palantir position entirely. The trades come as Wood publicly dismissed concerns about an AI bubble, stating at a recent conference that the technology’s growth trajectory remains intact.
Notably, the fund increased its crypto exposure with $3.8 million in Coinbase shares and $7 million in Circle stock. Alphabet’s 70% rally over the past year appears to have convinced ARK’s team that Big Tech still offers upside despite stretched valuations.
